Machine Capabilities & Specifications

Q Can aluminum and brass be processed on these machines?

A Many CNC router models offer high performance with various metals. Aluminum or brass processing can often be successfully performed on certain machines provided the correct processing mode and tools are selected.
  • How large are these CNC machines?

While CNC machines were initially designed for industrial use, they are now available in more compact models. The smaller size does not compromise their power or efficiency. CNC routers typically come in various size categories:
    ·  Desktop:  Bench-top routers designed for individual use.
    ·  Entry Level:  Best suited for small shops where space is limited.
    ·  Mid-Size Production:  Production machines primarily built for small businesses.
    ·  High Production:  Industrial machines designed for high-volume production environments.
  • What is the maximum height of the workpiece that can be processed on your machine?

The maximum Z-axis height for a workpiece is determined by the gantry's height, with a small technological clearance. It's important to account for the part's relief and the length of the tool's extension. Machines often include an additional Z-axis power reserve beyond the gantry height, enabling engraving close to the gantry's maximum height, even with a tool extension.
